Our family business company ethos is to harvest and pack our products Cresta lettuce,onions and spinach at the optimum stage. We can guarantee food safety (also pesticides analysis done always before harvesting) through our system of production and traceability which is essential to maintain high quality oil based products.
We have a complete integrated crop management system from seed planting to harvest.Own crops with accreditations: Globagap, UNE 155000, BRC, IFS, Natural Choice and Field to Fork. A rigorous selection process makes sure that the best varieties are grown to ensure that important quality attributes are achieved, such as low pungency levels in onions, utilizing the brix system. Oxalates and nitrates levels are also monitored in spinach and Cresta lettuce®.
What are the EL LACERO products in oil?
They are the result of a very careful and gentle handling process from the field to the processing factory. The products are peeled (onions) sliced, washed and dried. The next stage is to dip the products in hot vegetable oil but only for the shortest time so that the textures, flavours and taste are kept in their natural state and allows the products to be cooked quickly and easily.
