COATO, farming cooperative created in 1979 to produce and market agricultural products, currently represents over 4,000 members and has a farmland for organic cultivation of over 12,000 hectares, mainly in the Murcia Region. COATO was certified in ecological farming in 1996.

Ever since 1999, the cooperative also markets ecological almonds in various formats: (whole – skin on, whole - skin off, flour, grains, sheets, roasted and fried in organic olive oil).

In 2001, COATO began marketing ecological extra-virgin olive oil, ecological paprika and, in 2004, honey.

COATO supplies quality organic foodstuffs and markets finished products under the ECOATO brand.
