COATO is an agricultural cooperative company founded in 1979 by 65 pepper and paprika growers from the Totana area (Murcia-South of Spain). Since then, it has established itself as one of the most important cooperatives is its field extending to other areas such as olive oil, almond, honey etc., gathering the most important quality and sustainability achievements over this trajectory. The tendency of COATO has been obtaining environment-friendly products, that’s why we have more than one third of our production area under organic production (9.000 ha).
COATO commercialises the products that its partners provide in diverse formats for the best service, both for the final consumer and for the wholesaler.
